I've asked at least once before (not to prom or any dance), and I'm still shy and socially awkward.

...although, I think I'm gradually growing to be more socially erratic.

Don't got teh buals to ask someone even a general question. Like, "Are you going to get the special?" in a lunch line to a random person. Even if I know them, but haven't gotten to talk to them.

Im not shy. Sometimes i like to spout random comments to random people in hallways and see their confused reactions, or muttered WTF comments.

Trust me it's not just in hallways.
